What features are there?

PishieSprees includes tons of new features that make your spreeing experience much more enjoyable! Here is a list of what you can expect. Keep in mind though: we will constantly upgrade our features based on your feedback, so if you have one, please do not hesitate to let us know!

  • Ease of mind - we require that all Spree Organizers provide verifiable personal information about themselves.
  • Spree tracking - our system will track the current value of the spree, greatly reducing the possibility of participants ordering beyond the cap.
  • Allow/Disallow comments - Organizers can control whether they want to allow user comments on their sprees. If not, then all postings must be accompanied by a valid order.
  • Automatic mass email - Whenever Organizers post an update on their sprees, our system will automatically mass email all the Spree Participants, saving much time and effort.
  • Integrated feedback system - We have our very own feedback system especially build for spreeing. Participants can give feedback plus rating to Organizers, which will be automatically displayed on all sprees.
  • Updates and Upgrades - Unlike other spree sites, PishieSpree is wholly owned and run by the PishiePoshie Team. What this means is that your feedback and opinions matter, and we will constantly improve the system based on your input!

Why join PishieSpree?

There are many reasons to organize and participate in sprees with PishieSpree, but we find that the easiest way is to compare with SGSpree and ShoppingLifestyle (which are pretty much the only choices people have at the moment).

How to participate in PishieSpree as Organisers?

Here are 8 simple steps to follow to become a PishieSpree Organiser:

Step 1: Register an account at PishiePoshie.

Step 2: Activate your account by clicking on the link provided in an email sent to you by PishiePoshie after registration. Do check your Junk Mail Box in case it ended up there.

Step 3: Login your account and click on the 'Sprees ' icon at the right corner of our PishiePoshie homepage. You should be looking at our PishieSprees Resource Listing Page which basically is a page where you can see all the Sprees Listings by PishieSprees Organisers.

Step 4: Click on 'Apply Spree Organiser Status '. You should be looking at our 'Spree Organiser Application Form '. Simply fill in all the required information and click 'Send' which is at the bottom of the application form. 

Step 5: Please wait for our PishieSprees Moderators to approve of your application before proceeding. Usually, this will take less than 24hours. All new sprees require approval from the PishiePoshie Team to make sure they comply with our PishieSpree Terms of Service. This is usually done within 24 hours, and is mainly to ensure that Spree Organizers provide all the necessary information. Upon approval, you will receive a confirmation email which provides step-by-step information on how to create a spree. 

Step 6: Click on the 'Sprees' icon again. This time, instead of the tab 'Apply Spree Organiser Status', you will see 'Add Entry '. Click on 'Add Entry'. You should be looking at an 'Add New Entry' form. Simply fill in the required information about the spree you wish to organise and click 'Send' which is at the end of the form.

Step 7: Please wait for our PishieSprees Moderators to approve of your submssion. Again, this will usually take less than 24hours.

Step 8: Tadah! Upon approval, you should see your spree on our PishieSprees Resource Listing Page .

How to participate in PishieSpree as Buyers?

Step A: PishieSprees Resource Listing Page will provide you with the full list of sprees (opened/closed/ordered/shipped) and their details. To see sprees categorised by websites or types, do refer to the column bar at the right side of this page.

 

Step B: For full details of the spree you are interested in, simply click on the Spree Title, for example in our demo, that would be to click on 'My LaSenza Spree (EXAMPLE)'. Make sure you read the terms and condition for every spree you wish to participate in to avoid any misunderstandings or delays!

Alternatively, to participate immediatey, click on 'Spree Forum Topic ' which would link you straight to our forums where the real spree action is! Follow the instructions given on that page to order.

To reiterate, the ordering format should look like this and is to be posted within ONE comment only:

To post, click on 'Reply' which is at the bottom of the forum page. Do enter the amount you spent (in the spree-ing currency excluding extra charges eg. Handling fees) as prompted by our system during the posting process. 
You will not be able to post orders once the cap is reached. However, you will still able able to post comments as long as the status of the spree is open/order/shipped. 


Step D: Tadah! You have successfully participated in PishieSprees! Do bookmark the page for the spree you have participated in as the Spree Organiser will be providing further updates on the spree page itself.

How do you maintain your PishieSpree as an Organiser?

1) Unlike blog sprees or community sprees at other websites, PishiePoshie offers Spree Organisers handy Cap Tracking. This means you can select among Item/Price/End Date Cap Types.

Item Cap: Sprees automatically ends* after reaching certain item limit.

Price Cap: Sprees automatically ends* after reaching certain price limit.

End Date Cap: Spree automatically ends* at specific date.

*spree-er will be unable to post any more orders. Posting of comments will still be allowed.

This would provide Sprees Organisers the ease of not needing to check on the spree cap more than necessary or worry about troublesome refunding if it exceeds.

2) Spree Organisers are able to post comments on their spree page after the spree ends to inform Spree-er of any updates. And vice versa.

3) Spree Organisers are able to update the status of the spree by selecting among these options provided by PishieSpree:

Open/Ordered/Shipped: Spree Forum posting by spree-ers allowed.

Closed/Cancelled/On Hold: Spree Forum posting by spree-ers disallowed.

4) For every update posted by a Spree Organiser on our forum, a notification email will be sent to each participating spree-ers automatically. This will help save time on adding email addresses for mass emailing.

5) Spree Organisers may upload spreadsheets to inform spree-ers of their individual postage charges at our forum itself.

6) Once the Spree Organisers have mailed the spree items out, the spree status may be changed to 'closed'. Spree-ers who have further enquiries may PM (private message) Spree Organisers at PishiePoshie or reach them at their personal email addresses.

How do we verify the identities of Organisers?

At PishieSpree, preventing frauds is one of our highest priorities. To protect both Organizers and Participants, we ask that potential Organizers provide us with certain information during application. This information includes:

  • Full name
  • Bank account info
  • Mobile phone number
  • Home phone number
  • Home address
  • A scanned/photographed image of their IC showing their address and name
  • A scanned/photographed image of a billing letter (utilities bills/phone bills/magazine subscriptions etc) showing their address and name

The last 2 information will build a positive identity of the applicant, and ensure that every organizer can be contacted if the need arises.
